The first question is essential. Why do you need an equipment appraisal? Specifically a Machinery & Equipment prepared by a only by Certified Appraiser? The reason is that only a Certified Appraiser can provide a Certified Report.
Let’s say you own a software company (or a manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, retail or service business). At some point you will need to borrow money. Time may be of the essence. Nearly all credit lines and SBA loans require an appraisal. But wait! They require it be certified. That means it must be performed by a certified appraiser only.
